Tomorrow, we will join together for a time of remembrance of Christ's death. We will begin our service at 10:30, entering into a time of quiet reflection through music, scripture, words and communion. We will leave the service in quiet.

Children will participate in a Good Friday program for the duration of the service.

We will join for worship at 10:30 on Easter Sunday as we celebrate our risen Lord. This is a day of giving thanks that the grave is empty and Jesus has risen. Please join us for this important Sunday in the life of the church. 

Next Sunday we will enjoy a time of fellowship and a delicious brunch. We will gather around tables at 10:30 allowing us to deepen our relationships with one another. You are welcome to bring a breakfast casserole, baking or fruit to share. We look forward to this time together.

We are excited for a new kitchen at CMCC that will serve many community members and The Gathering. The renovations are taking place in May and June. We will not have access to the kitchen during this time. We will be bringing coffee and simple snacks to church for these two months.

Let's be praying that all will go well with the renovations and for patience for the many partners who access the kitchen.

The Gathering has reserved cabins and campsites at Hidden Acres Camp for a weekend of church camping, fellowship and worship the weekend of August 22 to 24.

In the past, this weekend has been a time of playing, enjoying creation, building up our relationships and worshipping God in the great outdoors.

To help us plan, would you please let Catherine (catherine@gatheringchurch.ca) know if you plan to attend. This can be a tentative plan. Having a general sense of numbers will help us with our reservation at HAC.  Please let Catherine know by May 12th.

The Gathering Church will once again be serving kettle popcorn at this year's MCC  Mennonite Relief Sale in New Hamburg,  May 30th and 31st. Many volunteers are needed to help make the sale a success. If available & interested in volunteering please contact Laura (lauraannally@gmail.com). 

The refreshment table team is looking for a few new volunteers to help starting in September. This would be on a rotation every 4-6 weeks. Please let Laura (lauraannally@gmail.com) or Catherine (catherine@gatheringchurch.ca) know if you're interested.

Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering.  The members of the Board are: Wazir Ally, Clare Lebold, Craig Nafziger and Chris Pot.
