This week we wonder if we might finally be ready, ready to say to God, “Yes! Let it be…NOW!”
We have come to see Mary as brave, well prepared in her heart to hear God’s promise, and open to the healing and wholeness that God was offering the world through her son.
We know that Mary says yes, that she is faithful and called blessed among women for it; this morning we will look at this now familiar encounter with the lens of when…when does she make her Yes decision?
When does she make her faithful response…is she in absolute surrender and perfect obedience,
or is she a little more human than that,
is she perhaps a little more like us?
