...Hello Gathering Church Thank you for praying for Gloria and her family in this time of deep concern. Thank you for praying for Clare with hope. Clare remains on a respirator in the ICU. The medical team is watching him closely and caring for him well. He remains in critical condition. We are invited to pray prayers of healing for Clare while knowing his condition is very serious. Gloria and family are very grateful for all the prayers being offered for Clare and them. We continue to pray that the Peace of Christ will be present to them. When Clare and I were on the staff team together, we often read Psalm 27, finding it to be an encouragement and an invitation to invite Hope as a verb into our lives and prayers. The Lord is my light and the One Who saves me. Whom should I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom should I be afraid? O Lord, listen to my cry. Show loving-kindness to me and answer me. 8 You have said, “Look for My face.” My heart said to You, “O Lord, Your face will I look for.” 9 Do not hide Your face from me. 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord. Lead me in a straight path… 13 I would have been without hope if I had not believed that I would see the loving-kindness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord. Be strong. Let your heart be strong. Yes, wait for the Lord. Portions of Psalm 27 I am praying for each of you as we as a church grieve and hope together. With love,
