Hello Gathering Church,

On Tuesday November 25^th from 5:30 to 7:00pm, The Gathering will be hosting our first official High Schoolers Only Dinner. 

As a reminder, this new ministry was created after a grade 10 student, at Snack Attack, requested a meal with the adults from The Gathering Church. We hosted a ‘trial’ meal in April. It was a beautiful time of sharing food, conversation and peace with the youth. 

We then applied for a grant from The City of Kitchener and were blessed with $7,000.00 to help establish the meals as an ongoing way of building into the lives of the youth in Chandler Mowat.

In October, a youth leadership team was formed. They met once to plan menus, the code of conduct and how to make the suppers welcoming and meaningful.

Now that the CMCC kitchen is completed, we have our first date:  Tuesday November 25^th. 

We will soon establish dates for 2026.

These meals are a wonderful opportunity for us as a church to build meaningful relationships of encouragement and hope with the youth of CM. 

We hope that you will join in serving and getting to know the youth. Families are most welcome to come and serve together.

Everyone is welcome to participate with a special call out to the men of The Gathering. There is an absence of loving and present men in the CM community. As a church we seek to model the loving and hopefilled ways of God to the youth.
