Join us this Sunday at 10:30 as we continue to watch for the ways of Preparing the Way of the Lord.

Our youth will be participating in the service.  Come and celebrate the ways of God.

Join us following our worship service for a delicious lunch prepared by our youth.

Next Sunday we enter into our Advent season.  Together we will begin this sacred time of reflecting on the gift of Emmanuel, God with us.

Please pray for Snack Attack. For relationships to form. For encouragement to be given and received and for the community to experience the love of God.

Snack Attack continues each Tuesday of the school year.

Jesus invited people to eat with Him. On Tuesday November 25^th, we’re inviting youth from Chandler Mowat to join around tables for a delicious meal and lots of conversation and engagement. We hope that you will join in this time of getting to know and investing in the lives of the youth. We’ll meet from 5:30 to 7:00.

Please be praying for the meal. For the love and the peace of God to be present.  For the youth to know that they are seen and valued.  For meaningful relationships to form.

Women are invited to join in an evening of coming together to celebrate this Advent season. Join us  at 7:00 on Monday December 15^th in the Celebration Room at Luther Village. We hope that you will join in this evening of being together, an Advent reflection and tasty treats. More details to follow.

Our Christmas Community Supper has become a tradition for The Gathering and the Chandler Mowat Community.  The Supper allows for us to join with our neighbours to celebrate the love of God and to pass the Peace of Christ to one another.

We hope that you will join us on Saturday December 13^th.  Please let Ruth (office@gatheringchurch.ca) know if you are able to join in preparing and serving the meal.

We all enjoy the hot coffee and tasty treats after worship on Sunday mornings. The Refreshment Team is looking for new members. This is a once a month commitment to serving on Sunday mornings.

Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering. The members of the Board are: Wazir Ally,  Craig Nafziger and Chris Pot.
