Monthly Giving Update

Your Giving Impact…

Our congregation thrives on the steady, generous support of everyone who calls The Gathering their church home.  If you are able and haven't done so already, we invite you to consider monthly giving of your tithes or offerings.  Steady giving helps us plan and invest wisely in the work and mission that God has called us to.

Every Gift Matters!

We recognize that not everyone is able to give financially in the same way, but every gift matters! Thank you for the many ways you support and care for our church community through your financial generosity, your selfless gift of time, your unique talents, and your faithful prayers! 

During July and August, our many volunteers take time to rest. 

There will not be a nursery program or Kids Zone on Sunday mornings. If the weather is nice and if we have two adult volunteers, children will go outside for a time of supervised play during the sermon. If it is rainy or no adult volunteers, there will be colouring pages for the children to enjoy.

This week we are invited to pray for:

• One another 

• Children in CM

• Youth in CM

Once again this Fall, we will host our annual Women’s Retreat at Hidden Acres Camp. The dates for this year’s retreat are Friday October 2 to Sunday October 4. We are looking forward to a time of worship, growing in faith and relationships, enjoying creation and fun together. Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering. The members of the Board are: Wazir Ally,  Rich Janzen, Craig Nafziger and Chris Pot.
