One of the ways that God has invited The Gathering Church to extend His love and care to the Chandler Mowat community in this season of new beginnings is through our Back-to-School Clothing Distribution. The families of the community are excited for this gift of new clothing that offers them a fresh start to their new school year with a sense of dignity and delight. 

We are excited to fill the bags and deliver them to families on Sunday September 7^th and hope that you will join us.

Everyone is invited to join in this extension of God’s love. We will meet in the CMCC gym at 10:30.

 Following the delivery of the clothing, we will join for a pizza lunch.

 To help with planning, please RSVP  to Ruth (office@gatheringchurch.ca) letting her know how many will be joining for the lunch.

Women are invited to attend our Women’s Retreat, September 26th through 28^th.  This is a time of growing in our faith and relationships while enjoying the beauty and rest of Hidden Acres Camp. Please contact Amanda (cnapot@gmail.com) with any questions and for registration details.

On Monday Oct 6th seniors are invited to learn from two organizations deeply involved in supporting asylum seekers and refugees. Experience the difficult decisions refugees make as they flee their homes. Better understand the complex issues of conflict, migration and refugees. Cost is $55 and includes lunch. Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering. The members of the Board are: Wazir Ally,  Craig Nafziger and Chris Pot.
