Oh come let us adore Him! Join us this Sunday morning as we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Through song, scripture, reflection and LIGHT, we we will welcome anew, Emmanuel, God with us.

Children and youth are participating in the service.

If you are able, please bring a clean wide mouth Mason or jam jar with you to this Sunday’s service. One for each member of your family is appreciated and extras to share if you have them.

Following our morning worship we will share conversation and Christmas treats. You are welcome to bring baking to share.

Next Sunday we will join for a service of Carols and Scripture: a quieter time of receiving God’s word and singing familiar carols together. Children will stay in the service. 

On Sunday January 4^th we will welcome the new year together with a Gathering Church Brunch. Please bring a brunch item to share. 

Thank you for your financial gifts to the life and mission of The Gathering Church. If you are planning to make an end of the year donation, it can be received until December 31^st. 

We are thankful for your prayers for and participation in Snack Attack. Since September, relationships of trust and encouragement have grown. We continue to see how sharing God’s love brings hope and peace and builds up love in the community. 

Snack Attack will restart on Tuesday January 13^th.

We are invited to pray for one another as members of God's family.

This week we are invited to pray for:

• Peace in our home

• Light to those experiencing sadness and lack this season

• Awareness of God With Us

Sunday, January 4th - Gathering Church Brunch  

We all enjoy the hot coffee and tasty treats after worship on Sunday mornings. The Refreshment Team is looking for new members. This is a once a month commitment to serving on Sunday mornings.

Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering. The members of the Board are: Wazir Ally,  Craig Nafziger and Chris Pot.
