Monthly Giving Update
Your Giving Impact… Reflecting on March, we give thanks for the incredible partnership The Gathering has with the City of Kitchener. You may have already heard that we are thrilled to receive an $8,000 Love My Hood Grant for our Snack Attack program. What you may not have heard, is that we regularly receive free Sunday access to the Kitchen, two meeting rooms and several spaces for storage in addition to free use of facilities for Snack Attack and Community and High Schoolers' Suppers programs. We encourage you to give thanks and pray for the leaders of our city! Every Gift Matters! We recognize that not everyone is able to give financially in the same way, but every gift matters! Thank you for the many ways you support and care for our church community through your financial generosity, your selfless gift of time, your unique talents, and your faithful prayers! How to Make a Financial Gift If you would like to give financially to The Gathering, it is easiest to donate via e-transfer to donations@gatheringchurch.ca or you can contact Marlene at bookkeeper@gatheringchurch.ca if you would like to arrange an alternate way of giving. |

...April 21 Men will be serving at Teen Supper
Men: have you ever wanted to learn to make a tomato-based pasta sauce from scratch? Yes? Well now is your chance! You are invited to a cooking class at a venue TBA, May 5, 2026 at 6 p.m. And, obviously we'll be sharing a meal of pasta and meatballs after the cooking class concludes (there will be a minimal cost of $5 per person to cover the cost of the ingredients)! The congregational meeting will be held from 12:45 to 2:15 at CMCC with lunch provided between morning worship and the meeting. ...May 29 & 30 celebrates the 60th anniversary of the New Hamburg Mennonite Sale. Our church once again will be looking for volunteers for popping & selling Kettle Corn. |

T-shirts for the Children's Back-to-School Clothing DriveAs the weather warms up, please consider purchasing new t-shirts for September's Back-to-School Clothing packing and distribution day. Last year we were able to provide a second t-shirt for each child due to generous donations from the congregation. We hope to do the same this year.
Please limit your donations to the following sizes:
Boys S (6-7), M (8), L (10-12) and
Girls S (6-7), M (8), L (10-12)
