This Week - Church @ the Acres for (Like) Christ in Kindness!

We are heading out to Hidden Acres for what looks to be a beautiful morning spent together in worship, word, and fellowship in the serene setting of Hidden Acres.

Join us Sunday for morning worship followed by Picnic and Play.

Together we will look at the Fruit of the Spirit--Kindness.

We will gather under the picnic shelter. There are picnic tables available or you can bring a lawn chair.

Following our morning worship you are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the picnic shelter. Also bring your bathing suits, towels and any lawn games as we will enjoy time together enjoying nature, swimming in the pond and connecting with our friends at The Gathering.

We will fill our time with kindness!

Next Sunday - (Like) Christ in our Patience

Next week we will worship together at Chandler Mowat, with the third message in our series Like Christ. Forbearance or patience, is another character trait of a Holy Spirit empowered life, and we will explore how God manifests this in all of our lives as we remain in Him.

Next Next Week - July Long Weekend Pre-recorded Alternative Worship

For our first long weekend of the summer we are encouraging everyone to enter the gentler and slower rhythms of rest that warmer weather in Ontario invites us into. Wherever you find yourself on the long weekend, we hope you will create the space to follow along with our Alternative Worship for this week.

Our Like Christ series continues with the topic of GOODNESS and will challenge us to reflect on our personal holiness before an all knowing and all seeing, yet entirely gracious God.

The sermon and worship prompts will be posted on our website on Sunday morning.

Congregational News

Liam and Ezra Feenstra have been released from hospital and are now at home with Mark, Caitlin, and Noah. Liam came home on Sunday and Ezra came home on Tuesday. Both boys are doing well and Noah is excited to have them home. We rejoice with the Feenstra's at this joyous news!

This week we conclude Snack Attack. We rejoice at the many relationships built, the high school youth who volunteered their time in their community in snow, rain and the heat of the sun, for the healthy snacks that were enjoyed by the children and youth, for the meaningful partnerships formed and for God’s Spirit of love and peace present each week. We believe that good things will continue to grow from this program.

Popsicles in the Park

As Snack Attack comes to an end, we invite you to join in our summer program of Popsicles in the Park. Each Tuesday night beginning on July 5^th we will meet at CMCC’s playground from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your family or to grab a friend, come to CMCC to enjoy visiting, play and a popsicle. You are invited to sign up to help us know who will be joining in.
