Mennonite Marriage Encounter presents an upcoming “Engaged Workshop” on April 26 - 27 at Maple View Mennonite Church. This event is for any engaged or newly married couple. The sessions are led by volunteer married couples who want to help new marriages get off to a good start. The workshop is not a replacement for pastoral counselling offered by many churches, but is a great addition. Subjects include strengthening good communication skills, and learning healthy ways to resolve conflict in marriage. While the workshop has a Christ-centered foundation based on the tools taught at Marriage Encounter Weekends, persons of all faiths, regardless of where they are at on their faith journey, are welcome to attend. The cost for these workshops is $65.00/couple (early-bird price, $55/couple if paid by March 15), and includes snacks and lunch on Saturday. For more details, go to marriageencounterec.com/engaged-workshop. Further questions can be directed to Denise Bender, (519) 656-2226 or [email protected].
