Forest Hill United Church is hosting an on-going fundraiser “Food Truck Frenzy” every Monday night continuing through August. As a way of supporting the Chandler Mowat Community Centre activities, as well as the Forest Hill school, come out between 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. as a variety of trucks will be onsite. Half of the profits earned will go to the Chandler Mowat Commmunity Centre and half will go to the Forest Hill school. You are invited and encouraged to enjoy some Food Truck Frenzy Mondays over the summer in support of a good cause. (121 Westmount Road East, Kitchener)

Do you have old smartphones, tablets, desktops, iMac's, iPod's, or iPad's lying around? You can donate them to support the Community Cupboard (food and clothing bank for those people in Kitchener & area). All the money will go to support the Community Cupboard and each item is worth money, whether it is working or not. (It is helpful to know whether the device works or not, and the cellphone carrier - if applicable.) The money goes to support the 500+ food hampers which are given out each week. This is a year-end fundraiser. Drop your items off at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (137 Queen Street South, Kitchener) between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday.
