Baby Sharks (Ages 3 to SK), Sea Turtles (Grade 1, 2 & 3) and Narwhals (Grade 4 & 5) classes meet for songs, stories of faith and activities during the teaching part of the Sunday morning worship service. We always begin with a time of worship together and then break into our classes for a lesson, activity and snack. A few times per year, we like to provide opportunities to explore peace and justice with hands-on experiences like packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, writing notes of encouragement to distribute at our weekly breakfast program (Build-a-lunch), or packing Mennonite Central Committee relief kits.
For children in grades 6 and older, we provide opportunities for them to develop leadership skills by helping in classrooms and twice per month having their own lesson time called Helper Huddle.
