Greetings to you in this Holy Week.

We have journeyed together through Lent into this Holy Week that leads us to Good Friday and Easter Sunday. 

This weekend we will join together to experience the shadows of the cross and then the light of Jesus’ resurrection. We will welcome together the shift from fear to hope. 

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.

A time of celebration of Hope and Light and Resurrection.  Please bring a colourful decoration to add to our Lenten logs

Sunday April 7^th           Sunday Brunch            10:30 CMCC               
Together we will join for Sunday brunch, conversation and celebration of the goodness of our Risen Lord. 

You are invited to bring muffins or fruit to share. Other breakfast treats will be provided.

You are welcome to bring a friend!

The Youth are inviting everyone to bring their appetite and join them on Sunday, April 14 after the service for a delicious Chili Lunch including a hearty chili, rolls, salad, veggies and dessert. This is a fundraiser to help raise money for our fall retreat and other youth events throughout the year. It will be by donation and we invite you to bring dishes (plate, bowl, utensils) with you from home to both show our care for the environment and to help keep costs low.

Please RSVP to youth@gatheringchurch.ca by April 8th and include any allergy information you might have.

Snack Attack is our weekly ministry of providing healthy snacks and encouragement to the children and youth of the Chandler Mowat community each Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:00.  You are welcome to join in serving!

Gathering Church Camping at Hidden Acres

This year’s MCC Mennonite Relief Sale is May 24-25th.  We as a church will be popping/selling kettle corn once again. Volunteers will be needed throughout the weekend, please consider serving through this wonderful event.  Contact Laura Ally for more details.  lauraannally@gmail.com.

May 4th we’ll be hosting a “Kettle Corn popcorn Training” & Campfire evening. This evening is for everyone, it will be at the  Gitzel’s home. Come anytime after 4:30pm.  We will be supplying hot dogs to roast over the campfire, please bring a salad to share.

After dinner we will fire up the pop and have a refresher on how to make popcorn, and enjoy that together. Contact Laura Ally if you have questions

Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp's 40th Annual Bowlathon is happening again this year on April 6th! This is one of the camp’s main annual fundraising events with last year’s Bowlathon raising almost $30,000!
