Join us this Sunday as Susan Schwartzentruber, Executive Director of Shalom Counselling, brings words of encouragement to our morning worship service. Susan will lead in a fresh look at Peter and a Donkey with the focus on building resiliency, how to bend but not break in the storm.  

Following our morning worship service, we will enjoy the Youth fundraiser, a chili lunch prepared and served by our youth. 

We invite you to bring dishes (plate, bowl, utensils) with you from home to both show our care for the environment and to help keep costs low.

**Please bring  2 bowls (one for chili and one for ice cream sundaes for dessert).

Next Sunday, we welcome Marg from Credence and Co. as we move further into our guided journey of our Congregational Discernment Process. 

Following the morning service, we will have lunch together before moving into our afternoon of listening, learning and growing together.

You are invited to spend time praying for our upcoming Congregational Discernment Meeting on April 21^st.  Through prayer we invite God to prepare our hearts, speech and minds for our time together.  We invite God to prepare us as The Gathering Church to be able to listen to one another, Marg and the Holy Spirit.  We have invited God to lead us in this process and now pray for a spirit of listening, contributing and unity. 

Snack Attack is our weekly ministry of providing healthy snacks and encouragement to the children and youth of the Chandler Mowat community each Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:00.  You are welcome to join in serving!

Gathering Church Camping at Hidden Acres

This year’s MCC Mennonite Relief Sale is May 24-25th.  We as a church will be popping/selling kettle corn once again. Volunteers will be needed throughout the weekend, please consider serving through this wonderful event.  Contact Laura Ally for more details.  lauraannally@gmail.com.

May 4th we’ll be hosting a “Kettle Corn popcorn Training” & Campfire evening. This evening is for everyone, it will be at the  Gitzel’s home. Come anytime after 4:30pm.  We will be supplying hot dogs to roast over the campfire, please bring a salad to share.

After dinner we will fire up the pop and have a refresher on how to make popcorn, and enjoy that together. Contact Laura Ally if you have questions
