This Sunday, we welcome Marg of Credence and Co.  During our morning worship Marg will share about “Wrestling With An Angel”.  Following our worship service we will join together for lunch and then move into our afternoon Congregational Discernment session.

The schedule for the day is:
10:30  Morning worship
11:45  Lunch
12:30  Afternoon session with a snack break included
  3:30 (latest)  Clean-up together

At the meeting, Marg will communicate the results of the Congregational Surveys and Interviews.  We will discuss the results together through guided conversation, listening and learning with one another.

Childcare is available. 

We hope you will join us next Sunday, as we explore walking the road of faith and the surprises along the way.

Caden Dippel remains in hospital.  Please continue to pray for Caden’s full recovery.  Pray for the Dippel family as they live in this unsettled time and are hopeful for Caden to come home soon.

Please join in praying for this Sunday’s Congregational Discernment meeting.  Pray for God to prepare our hearts, minds and posture towards one another.  Pray that we will hear together God’s call on The Gathering Church.

Snack Attack is our weekly ministry of providing healthy snacks and encouragement to the children and youth of the Chandler Mowat community each Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:00.  You are welcome to join in serving!

The youth girls are invited to a movie night hosted by Debbie Wagler. Hopefully many of you can attend!

Gathering Church Camping at Hidden Acres

This year’s MCC Mennonite Relief Sale is May 24-25th.  We as a church will be popping/selling kettle corn once again. Volunteers will be needed throughout the weekend, please consider serving through this wonderful event.  Contact Laura Ally for more details.  lauraannally@gmail.com.

**Public health this year requires at least one person to hold the food handlers course certificate, please let Laura know if you hold that or are willing to take the online course.

May 4th we’ll be hosting a “Kettle Corn Popcorn Training” & Campfire evening. This evening is for everyone, it will be at the  Gitzel’s home. Come anytime after 4:30pm.  We will be supplying hot dogs to roast over the campfire, please bring a salad to share.

After dinner we will fire up the pop and have a refresher on how to make popcorn, and enjoy that together.
