This Sunday
As this weekend is a long weekend, we are not going to meet on Sunday morning. Many are involved in set-up and preparing for Sunday morning worship. We take this Sunday as a day of rest for all, with thanksgiving for your participation in the life of the church.
Next Sunday we will continue our Telling the Stories series. We’ll hear of how the stories of the psalms intersect with the stories of our faith journey.

A Psalm of Praise
This weekend each of us is invited to set aside time to offer praise and thanksgiving to God. You could write a journal entry of thanksgiving. You could share things you are grateful for with family or friends. You could read this psalm out loud as a prayer of thanksgiving. You might pause and ponder what it means to you to be His people, His sheep. 1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving |

Snack Attack
Please pray for Snack Attack. For relationships to form. For encouragement to be given and received and for the community to experience the love of God. With the warm weather here, there are many opportunities for conversation and engagement with the children and youth at Snack Attack. Please continue to pray for God’s love to be received through a healthy snack pack, check-ins and care. |

Monthly Giving Update
Your Giving Impact… At the beginning of April we celebrated Easter, remembering God's incredible sacrifice and generous gift of new life through Jesus. Giving your time, talents and resources can be a hard thing to do and it can also be a beautiful way to reflect God's love for each other and the Chandler Mowat Community. Your giving helps create opportunities for fellowship, such as the pancake brunch we enjoyed the Sunday following Easter. Every Gift Matters! We recognize that not everyone is able to give financially in the same way, but every gift matters! Thank you for the many ways you support and care for our church community through your financial generosity, your selfless gift of time, your unique talents, and your faithful prayers! |

T-Shirt Sunday - May 31st
As a church community, God has invited us to bless the children and youth in the Chandler Mowat community with new back-to-school clothing. On Sunday May 31st, we are invited to bring new t-shirts to church as we prepare for our Clothing Distribution Sunday in September. We will bless the t-shirts and pray for the children and youth. Let’s join together in being Jesus’ hands and feet! |
