Genesis 3:7-8; 4:8; 6:5; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9

Palmer Becker in Begin Anew says: "Grace is “unmerited favor.” It is receiving something without deserving, earning, working for, or being good enough to deserve it. It is the opposite of entitlement, or feeling that someone owes us something. Divine grace means that God gives us something free of charge."  This sermon engages the questions of why grace is needed, how grace came about, and what our response to grace ought to be.
