Wholeness through Wounds Healed

We all have scars, we cannot escape this life without becoming wounded.

If we do not learn to transform our pain we will transmit it.

Thomas is often called doubting Thomas, and many have cast him in a negative light because he needed evidence before he would believe in Jesus.

He needed to see the wounds that marked Jesus before he would believe that He really was resurrected.

But, should we really write Thomas off so easily?

When we do that, we only learn from this story that we should have more and better faith?
Is Thomas’ need to see Christ's post-resurrection wounds really so problematic, or is something important to our understanding of wounds happening in this story?
